Green light to the diesel discount card, while the petrol discount increases again

The discount card, similar to the petrol discount card already in place for years in towns on the border with Switzerland, on Friday, 27 February 2015 comes into operation finally for diesel vehicles: it will benefit motorists who reside in border areas (40 municipalities in the province of Como, 14 in Sondrio and 40 in Varese) and that have activated the specific discount card on the regional services card (CRS).

After the first "false start" of January 1, delayed by the liberalization of the exchange rate of the Swiss franc, which has suddenly increased fuel prices across the border by 20 percent, and the threshold of the five hundredths of a difference in the price of diesel , the following discount mechanism is triggered: from Friday, therefore, eight cents will be discounted on the price at the pump in service stations. Good news coming also in terms of petrol: always from Friday will also revised the discount for petrol, The bonus per liter rises to 23 cents for residents in Band A (within 10 km from the border) and 15 cents for the band B (within 20 km).
