Piero Macchi is now on everyone’s lips. At the donation, Piero Macchi’s wife, Carla, his bride for 65 years, wanted to attach a letter delivered to all employees that received the unexpected Christmas gift.

THE LETTER ADDRESSED TO ENOPLASTIC EMPLOYEES
A text that the same workers contacted us defined touching. Miss Carla wanted to open the message with a sentence of Luigi Einaudi, President of Republic from 1948 to 1955:

“Thousands, millions of people work, produce and save despite all that we can invent to bother, stop and discourage them. This is the natural vocation that leads them, not only the thirst of earnings. The taste, the pride of seeing your own company prosper, gain credit, inspire trust in an ever larger clientele, expand structures, constitute a spring of progress as strong as the earnings.”

To the quote it follows a message addressed to Enoplastic employees, with the words that Piero Macchi’s wife wanted to dedicate to workers who flanked her husband in his company, founded in 1957 and became a world leader in the production of capsules, caps and innovative closures for the wine industry.

Dear coworkers,
this sentence of President Einaudi, despite it being more than 60 years old, is still perhaps the most beautiful description of the TRUE entrepreneur.
I think my husband was like this. A man who fell in love with his Company which was and it is still nowadays his creation.
He really knew that people are the company, not so much the walls and the machinery. And if the Women and Men who work there love and believe in their work, they make the Company prosper and build their future.
He always thought to all those who have built with him this long path of struggle and success and, even when the illness began to undermine his power, between his most pressing thoughts there was the one to find the proper way to demonstrate all its gratitude to the Employees.
He thought for a long time consulting with the people closest to him, but at the end, he decided personally, like always, assuming his responsibility of his choice.
With this personal gesture he wanted to thank not the single person, but the entire “team” because only the collective, moving in the same direction, can prosper the company and increase the pride of those who work in it.
This should be the spirit of participation of those who work every day in Enoplastic and only in this way, it can be collected the legacy of a man who has always believed in his capacities.
