Catrinel Marlon is to make a special guest appearance at the Busto Arsizio Film Festival
The model, actress, photographer and designer, Catrinel Marlon is joining Steve Della Casa, on the evenings of 18 and 25 March, on stage at the Teatro Sociale
The actress Catrinel Marlon will be making a special guest appearance during the fifteenth Busto Arsizio Film Festival. Catrinel will be joining the artistic director Steve Della Casa on stage at the Teatro Sociale, introducing the guests and welcoming the audience, during the Festival’s opening (Saturday, 18 March) and closing nights (Saturday, 25 March).
Catrinel was born in Romania, and after working as model and actress in the USA, she became well-known in Italy thanks to the TV presenter Piero Chiambretti. She was selected by Luigi Lo Casio for one of the main parts in the film La città Ideale. She also acted alongside Marco Giallini and Edoardo Leo in Loro chi?, by Francesco Micciché and Fabio Bonifacci, and has appeared in other films, such as Tutti i rumori del mare (All the sounds of the sea), by Federico Brugia, and Leone nel basilica, by Leone Pompucci.
Her passion for photography
She is currently in the cast of the TV series La porta rossa, on RAI Uno. She is a versatile person, and is passionate about photography, she photographs herself; she has opened an art gallery near the studios in Rome. In 2013, Catrinel launched Catherinelle, a line of handbags made exclusively in Italy, using precious materials.
