Si tratta dunque di un gruppo <strong>cooperativo<\/strong>, quotato alla <strong>Borsa<\/strong> di Milano e incluso nell&#8217;indice Ftse\/Mib. &Egrave;&nbsp;il quinto gruppo bancario in Italia per numero di sportelli, con una quota di mercato superiore al 5%. Il gruppo conta&nbsp;circa <strong>1.800<\/strong> <strong>filiali<\/strong>, di cui <strong>850 <\/strong>in Lombardia ed oltre <strong>220<\/strong> in Piemonte e ha una rilevante presenza nelle regioni pi&ugrave; dinamiche del centro e sud Italia.&nbsp;&Egrave;&nbsp;organizzata in base ad un modello federale, dove la capogruppo accentra le funzioni di governo, di controllo, di coordinamento e di supporto, alla quale fanno capo le banche rete, incaricate dei rapporti con il territorio storico di riferimento.<br \/>\nOltre alla <strong>capogruppo<\/strong> <strong>cooperativa<\/strong> quotata, il gruppo &egrave; costituito da&nbsp;<strong>nove<\/strong> <strong>banche<\/strong><strong>, <\/strong>tra cui<strong> la<\/strong>&nbsp;<strong>Banca<\/strong> <strong>Popolare<\/strong> di <strong>Bergamo<\/strong>&nbsp;che nel <strong>1992<\/strong>&nbsp;si fuse con l&#8217;<strong>ex Credito Varesino e la Banca Popolare Commercio e Industria, <\/strong>diventando<strong> <\/strong>la<strong> prima banca popolare ad essere quotata in borsa. <\/strong>Gli altri istituti appartenenti al gruppo sono:<strong>&nbsp;<\/strong>Banco di <strong>Brescia<\/strong>, Banca Popolare <strong>Commercio<\/strong> e <strong>Industria<\/strong>, Banca Regionale <strong>Europea<\/strong>, Banca Popolare di <strong>Ancona<\/strong>, Banca <strong>Carime<\/strong>, Banca di <strong>Valle<\/strong> <strong>Camonica<\/strong>, Ubi Banca <strong>Private<\/strong> <strong>Investment<\/strong> (rete di promotori finanziari), <strong>IW<\/strong> Bank (la banca on line).&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>L&#8217;Unione di Banche Italiane Scpa \u00e8 nata il 1 aprile 2007  dalla fusione di Bpu-Banche Popolari Unite &#8211; e Banca Lombarda e Piemontese.
