Doveva svolgersi domani, venerd\u00ec 28 agosto, la manifestazione regionale contro il razzismo e il fascismo organizzata a Varese da\u00a0 “Un’altra storia<\/strong>“. La data non era casuale, ma era stata scelta per ricordare l’anniversario della\u00a0celebre Marcia su Washington per il lavoro e per la libert\u00e0, occasione dello storico discorso di Martin Luther King, “I have a dream”, che si svolse il 28 agosto 1963.<\/p>\n

A causa delle pessime previsioni meteo per venerd\u00ec, sabato e domenica, gli organizzatori hanno dovuto per\u00f2 rinviare l’evento a venerd\u00ec 11 settembre.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00abPer la prima volta a Varese, volevamo ricordare questo evento con una manifestazione regionale antirazzista e antifascista – spiega Giuseppe Musolino, di Un’altra storia – Le previsioni ci hanno costretto a cambiare data, ma quella scelta, l’11 settembre, \u00e8 comunque una data da ricordare,<\/strong> perch\u00e9, oltre all’anniversario delle Torri gemelle si celebra l’anniversario del colpo di Stato in Cile e l’uccisione di Salvator Allende<\/strong>\u00bb.<\/p>\n

\u00abAbbiamo convocato una Manifestazione non violenta, colorata (le persone e le Organizzazioni potranno partecipare liberamente con bandiere, striscioni, cartelli, ecc.) e animata con musiche, danze, interventi, mostre e street art,<\/strong> seguendo lo spirito della manifestazione originaria, in cui ricordiamo che cantarono anche Bob Dylan, Joan Baez e Mahalia Jackson\u00bb.<\/p>\n

La manifestazione si terr\u00e0 in piazza Repubblica, a Varese, a partire dalle 17.30,<\/strong> nel rispetto delle norme di distanziamento sociale.<\/p>\n

All’evento parteciperanno artisti, musicisti e associazioni<\/strong> che numerose hanno aderito alla proposta.<\/p>\n
