Let’s celebrate together!

 Just a few more hours and then the 141 Tour will come to Varese for the last and intense week of a bit funny project that from the 20^th of May has seen each of us “running” through the streets of all 141 districts of Varese’s province.

When we wondered how to close the “enterprise”, a unique and unmistakable answer came from the Varesenews editorial staff: with a party!

A party for us that we have finished it (and we have had fun), but especially for you that have followed us with a lot of enthusiasm giving to the project of the 141 Tour, numbers that we hadn’t even hoped to take-home even with our more optimistic previsions.

It will be a party for you that have made cakes dedicated to us and posters with children’s drawings; for you who waited, pampered and sometimes fed us. For those who opened us the gates of their incredible houses or their kitchen  to offer us a coffee. For the Mayors who received us by announcing the visit of Varesenews with electronic advertising signs but also by reactivating ancient mills… For those who let us visit their firm and for those who proudly showed us the sculptures of their grandfather. In other words, it will be a party for all of you who have been the good and strong energy of this project.

The closing party  will be characterized by the same simplicity and spontaneity of the meetings on which  the tour has been nourished: we will meet in Montegrappa Square to have a mega-snack all together based on chestnuts by the chestnuts-growers from Brinzio, with the mulled wine of the Alpini ( members of the Italian alpine troops) from Varese.

Do bring your children because there will be plays for them, soap bubbles, the kids face paint artist from the “Decervellati” acting company in Castiglione Olona and fairytales by Martin Stigol and the Zattera Theatre.

We will be waiting for you, for all of you on Saturday 9^th November in Montegrappa Square in Varese, from 3.30 p.m. Do not miss it.
