Paolo is not on Facebook, keep searching in Valgrande

The Facebook trail vanished: the access on Paolo Rindi’s profile, unfortunately, was not made from the cellphone of the young philosophy student. His parents found out Monday morning, after a meeting with the magistrate that runs the inquiry in Verbania.

The tablet
What happened was a technological misunderstanding, but thanks to computer searches it was possible to reveal it. Some time ago Paolo Rindi accessed his Facebook profile using a family tablet, and probably he saved the password. His parents don’t have a Facebook profile and so they did not know that Paolo was using their tablet to access the social network too. Simply, once the tablet was turned on, Paolo’s profile was on and visible to his friends that were connected in that moment.

The Valley
Once the trail vanished, Fiammetta Masedu, his mother, reveals, with great courage and showing an impassible willpower, that the search should now point again to the Valgrande: “After speaking with the investigating judges,” she says, “I think we will appeal to the Verbania prefect, in order that the official search in Valgrande could be started again.”

The witnesses that saw him
Unfortunately the other reports received until now would not have been supported by concrete elements. Just one remains believable: a boy that the morning of 14ᵗ ͪ February, at Rozzano, saw a young boy sleeping under a platform roof and he talked to him. This boy was in a confused state, he wanted to go to Milan and they talked about the schedules of the means of transport. The magistrates asked for the access to the zone video cameras, but it looks they did not work. No news instead from the video cameras of Cadorna station concerning the other report.

The couple of hikers that last met Paolo has been interrogated. Both confirmed that the morning of 1ˢ ͭ  February they saw him on the path that comes from Pogallo and Cicogna, between 11.15 and 11.30.

Also the two boys that the night of 31st January spent all night with him at Pian di Boit were interrogated, but his family was not informed on the content of the interrogation. Wednesday is planed a new appeal on “Chi l’ha visto?”.
