Hair stylist from Varese at San Remo

Among the large team of hair stylists at the festival, there will also be a representative from Varese Province.

Ivana Romano, the owner of the hairdresser’s shop “Scarabeo Acconciature”, in Arsago, will be among the staff of hair stylists and make-up artists at the next San Remo Song Festival, on the evenings of 18, 19 and 20 February.

Ivana was chosen, together with another 18 hair stylists and make-up artists, from more than 60 professionals from all over Italy, during a three-day backstage session held a few weeks ago, in Milan.

“This is undoubtedly a great achievement,” said Ivana, “but, above all, it’s a wonderful opportunity for me to learn. Being part of the Festival team will be a challenging experience, a chance to put skills acquired over many years of serious work to the test.”

Before being given this opportunity to go to the city of flowers, Ivana had put her skills to the test during other important events, such as the World Cycling Championships, in Varese, in 2008, when it was her job to attend to the look of a number of fashion models.
