Pettinari, the “gem” who runs in the name of God

Leonardo Pettinari’s first day playing for Varese 1910. The 25-year-old, ex-forward of Atalanta, has been lent for just one season by the Bergamo team. “At the end of the year, we’ll see,” said “Leo”, as the trainer, Rolando Maran, renamed him during the first session. “I’ve chosen the number 33, because that’s how old Christ was; I’m a strong believer, I recently went to Medjugorie, with Simone Tiribocchi.
