Train pass? In the Carta Regionale Servizi (Services Regional Card)

Thanks to the CRS, Trenord passes and tickets are more convenient and flexible: the Carta Regionale dei Servizi (Regional Services Card) is enhanced with new features, making the purchase of passes easier. Indeed, commuters can apply for “transport feature” activation on their Carta Regionale dei Servizi and upload their train ticket onto the electronic card. Another change is the fact that people can buy and/or re-uploaded even on the Internet or on enabled ATM (automatic teller machine) circuit (Intesa san Paolo, Unicredit and Bpm). Formigoni said: “We first decided to introduce this function in Italy as an experiment in April, now we want to expand it. It is a new comfort, which confirms that the service is more and more convenient, less uncomfortable and even more advanced.”

Trenord customers, who are registered to the website www.trenord.it and who have the latest generation Itinero card (i.e. with visible chip), can buy or renew (with credit card) their weekly, monthly, annual and “TrenoMilano” passes directly from their smart phones, accessing to the mobile version of the website www.trenord.it
