Grandi and Bollani in concert at “della Luna”. The proceeds will be donated to charity

On Tuesday 18th December at 9 p.m., at the Teatro della Luna (Assago-Milano) will take part the unique stage of Milan of the national tour of Irene Grandi and Stefano Bollani. A concert made even more special thanks to the unique social aim; in favour of Bambinisenzasbarre Onlus, the association that deals with the care of family relationships during the detention of a parent or both (more than 100,000 children every year, in Italy and 1,2 million in Europe, "become children of imprisoned parents") and with the custody of the child’s right to continue the affective relationship (the paper of human’s rights of ONU) and with the sensitization of the institutional network and of the civil society (The minister of justice is supporting from many years the work of the association).

The concert supports the project "yellow space", a place in the prison where children can get ready for the meeting with their imprisoned parents. Thanks to the work of psychologists and teachers from the association, the very traumatic experience of prison, becomes "acceptable" and then understandable. So is continuing the approach of the musician Stefano Bollani to the association Bambinisenzasbarre Onlus started with the Open Prove of Filarmonica della Scala last April.

After having been guests on their albums and having played together on a floor in many occasions, Irene Grandi and Stefano Bollani have recorded an album for the unique artistic project and also a present for a friendship lasting 20 years. An album where the refined jazz from Bollani and a hot and rock voice of Irene Grandi are merging in an intensive music. The project Irene Grandi & Stefano Bollani (published for the Carosello Records), introduced by the single Costruire, one of the most beautiful and intensive songs by Nicolò Fabi, contains covers with sounds from Brazil and those from Europe, from classics from the past and others more modern of contemporary authors. It also contains two previously unpublished tracks, and one of them is written by Cristina Donà and Saverio Lanza. The project also has a tour which will place the two artists on the floors of the most important Italian theatres, on November and December.
