Thirty six years old, in search of a house or a three-roomed flat; this is the profile of visitors to “La Casa in Piazza”

 His average age is 36, he belongs to a household of two or three people, and he is interested in a three-roomed flat, or even a small detached house. This is the profile of the visitor to La Casa in Piazza 2013 (The House on the Square 2013), the home exhibition that ended on the evening of Sunday 27 October, confirming, even slightly improving, the figures of last year, when 3000 people visited the various stands. The people also came from places near Varese, attracted by the environmental quality of our province and by the prices, which are more convenient today than in other adjacent areas.

The profile was produced using a sample survey carried out among the people, this weekend, who entered the premises, in Piazza Monte Grappa, of the Chamber of Commerce, who, through its special company, Promo Varese, organised this event, now in its fourth year, in collaboration with associations of estate agents (ANAMA, FIAIP and FIMAA) and builders (ANCE), and with the Notary Council of Milan, some of the most important banks operating in Varese Province, and consumer associations.

As the visitors said, having representatives of the organisations involved in the buying and selling of houses all gathered in one place was what was most appreciated about the Casa in Piazza, leading to an overall judgement of the event that verged on excellent. And satisfaction with the thirty estate agencies that chose this event as a way of meeting the public, was also high; the event is now well established as a reference point for a sector of great importance for the economic development of Varese Province.

Of the many positive elements mentioned by both visitors and operators, particular importance was given to the free advice service on themes of buying and selling, provided in collaboration with the Notary Council of Milan and the estate agent associations.
