The faithful of Medjugorje filled the Stadium, but there was no apparition in public

There was a day of prayer today, in Varese. But the visionary Marija Pavlovic was not feeling well and left the stadium in the late afternoon.

The stadium was packed for the day of prayer that took place today in Varese.

For the fourth consecutive year, the now traditional gathering of devotees of Medjugorje took place, and a great number of believers seized the opportunity to share a long moment of meditation together.

The Sunday of prayer was organised by the Association Friends of Medjugorje of Varese, which is very active in the province and not only. The faithful began gathering in the morning and spent the whole day together, with supplications, rosaries, chants and testimonies.

The most awaited moment, however, the apparition of the Virgin Mary to the visionary Marija Pavlovic, did not take place. Marija was not feeling very well, and decided to spend the moment of meditation with the Madonna, in private. In the early afternoon, however, she shared her very unusual story and her testimonies of faith with those present. Marija Pavlovic, one of the six visionaries of Medjugorje, who claims to have experienced daily apparitions since the 1980s, has lived in Italy for many years.

The programme subsequently went as planned. Among the people who spoke today, there was Don Germano, a Nigerian priest, who brought his experience of life and his relationship with his faith. In the crowd, there were also 50 children, who brought white roses to the stage, as a gift to the Madonna.
