Economic support to young couples in Varese

The Municipal Council in Varese decided economic support to young couples. It is possible to submit the application by 29 January: there are available subsidies, up to an overall limit of 36,614 euros, for those who want to create, or have already created, a new family with their own home which can be rented (no ERP) or bought by taking out a loan for the first home, following some requirements.

Requirements
– Age limit: an age limit of 35 years old is set for at least one of the constituents and an age limit of 40 years old for the other one.

– The young couple is identified by wanting to get married, that means to start a common law marriage which will be created in the future (within two months from the date of the submission of the application) or which has been recently created (not exceeding two years).

– It is required that at least one of the components is already resident in Varese (for at least ten years) and that they have the will to rent a residence or to buy it taking out a loan for the first home for a real estate that is located in the municipality of Varese, within the following restrictions of duration and value:

1. a) for the rent: the contract of rent can be applied only to private residences, it must have a minimum duration of three years and a maximum annual rent of € 12,000 (excluding accessory expenses);
2. b) for the purchase: the mortgage must have a minimum duration of 15 years and the total value of reference for the property must not exceed € 250,000, as resulting from its notary deeds. The property must not belong to the following cadastral categories: A1, A8, A9, with net surface not larger than 110 sm.

For both the constituents Italian or UE citizenship is required. In case of extra-European citizenship it is required: possession of regular residency permit and also a non-continuous self-employed or subordinate job and stability of residency;

residency’s requirements: for at least one of the two constituents continuous residency in the municipality of Varese for a period not inferior than 10 years from the date of the application.

In income requirements for each of the two constituents:

-maximum limit of income ISEE-fsa of  € 35,000

The slots of contribution and the amount given according to the number of the assignees will be subsequently determined, in order to enable to the greater number of couples to benefit of the subsidy.

The young couples who are interested can apply at the offices of the Social Services in Via Orrigoni 5 – Varese, by filling the specific form available in the same offices.
