Post offices, no stop to closures

We would say no news, good news. But, actually, there aren’t any updates for the “hot” situations in the area of Varese, concerning the post office services.

The time table  reshaping and, in some cases, even the closure, will not undergo any variation, for this moment. The company ensured this.

Not even after the press release which made us presume a possible about-turn of the company on the closure and limitation of the service, especially in small towns.

All this happened after the Tar of Tuscany (the regional administrative court) decided to stop the decision of reducing the timetable of an office in a small town near Massa Carrara.

This is happening also in many towns in the area of Varese, as the collection of signatures witnesses in Cazzago and Inarzo, where the citizens don’t like the modifications.

Moreover, we have to consider the problems concerning the closure of the offices, which led to a collection of signatures by the local administrations and the dispatch of the petitions to the Presidency of the Republic, as in the case of the post office in Caldana, Cocquio Trevisago.

However, in Lombardy, except from a town near Pavia, there are not any planned changes.

The company did not take any official decision about these problems, even though the press revealed they want to analyse each situation.
