The official Valentino Rossi’s t-shirt will remember Ciccio

A "yellow night" in order to remember Ciccio, the child who died at the end of the last year after he had fought against leukaemia for two years. And here it comes the great initiative that is shaking the whole of the town of Uboldo. Two days with music, an exhibition of the painter Fabrizio Vendramin, a gastronomic stand, balloons launching, a nutella party, a minute of silence, a motorcyclists meeting, but especially with the charity auction with the relics given by the motorcycle racer Valentino Rossi, whose autographed helmet will also be included.  Along with the official presentation of  Valentino’s  newT-shirt, which is yellow of course, where you can see also a tribute to the child. Andrea, Ciccio’s father, along with the mayor of Uboldo, Lorenzo Guzzatti presented the big initiative that will last two-days 16, 17 March,. 

Luca Ciccioni, this is the real name, had personally met Valentino, he was his idol and he always dreamt of meeting him.. But not only, also the fans of the official fan club in Misano often used to go and see him in the San Gerardo hospital. During this two-day-long festival all Luca’s passions will emerge "but especially we will breathe Luca’s philosophy", explains the father who has been dealing with the fund-raising for months through the association "Quelli che con Luca" (Those with Luca), which is born after his child’s death.  "That philosophy made of courage, of help, of support, of struggles and hopes which has always been encouraged my Luca.  This beautiful initiative is nothing but another step of a path that Luca would have carried on and whose funds will support a European project against leukaemia".

Luca’s story has moved so many people in town, that the municipality administration named the park of Lazzaretto after the child.  "We don’t celebrate the loss of a child but what he left" said the mayor Lorenzo Guzzetti as he presented the "Yellow Night".  We won’t remember his death, but the message he gave along with the experience of his disease and its consequences." Why did you choose yellow?  "It’s the colour of Valentino who has paid homage to Luca more than once," explains the father, "till he put a symbolic cook’s hat, which was another of my son’s big passions, on the official t-shirt under the number 46. During the presentation of the two-day festival, Andrea Ciccioni is moved, even though he does not cry.  "We cannot only cry, Luca taught me to struggle, to keep promises and this is what I’m doing myself.  This yellow night is dedicated to him, but especially to the fight against leukaemia. I will never forget those two days of September in Misano, when Luca met Valentino. That was a dream that came true and that led to this great ‘yellow night’".

Here it is the schedule of the initiative:

 FRIDAY,17 MARCH

– At 17:00 the Yellow Night begins with mini-motorcycles on the skating rink;

– At 19:00 the kitchen opens;

 – At 20:30 the show begins.  In the first part the generous Fabrizio Vendramin will perform, who decided to sell the painting on that night and the funds will be completely given to the association;

– At 21:00 there will be the Valentino Rossi’s  Official Fan Club Tavull T-shirt for the motor-championship 2012.  There is a reason why it is presented in Uboldo… Come and see it! This T-shirt will be famous all over the world! There will be the opportunity for those who want it to book it.

– The champion’s relics will be on sale. The whole proceeds will be donated to the association.

– There will also be some videos and tales about Valentino and Luca, friends forever.

– At 22:30 the Grafite starts playing for the music night. During the performance, Fabrizio Vendramin is painting a picture that will be donated to Valentino.

SUNDAY, 18 MARCH

– At 10:30 the motorcyclists are meeting in Piazza degli Alpini in Uboldo.

– At 11:00 motobike parade in Uboldo and in the neighbourhood.

 – At 12:30 lunch in big tent.

– At 14:30 the motorbikes will leave from the big tent, from the nursery school the children will leave. We will meet all together at the Parco del Lazzaretto "Luca Ciccioni" for the minute of chaos in memory of Luca, then release of balloons for international Dad’s day and then… Nutella Party!!!!!!!
