Unblocked the commune funds, 4 million euros for Varese

“Finally”. The confirmation arrived on the eve of Easter from the Government that is still in charge. “After ten days of telephone calls and meetings,” explain Fontana, “the unblocking has arrived for all communes in Italy, for Lombardy there are 4 and half billion euros. For Varese it is good news, because for the year 2013, the stability pact reduced the spending to 16 and a half million euros, which means that we couldn’t even begin a single work. Now with the unblocking we will have available 4 million euros, which are not a lot, but at least we can do something for the needs of the city, such as repairing the roads”.

An Easter with the coffers replenished, will without doubt by remembered by the commune administrators, that in these years, have done all that is necessary to respect the restrictions that have forced the communes to do the minimum necessary with a heavy weight on the economic recovery.
