Tackling the new frontiers of violence

GEA and several associations united against Cyberbullying and hidden violence at a conference. Special appointment with the crime scene.

A mask, the one used by the corpse carriers, that “comes out” from the computer and pollutes the body and the mind of a little girl who, unaware, opens her life to strangers: her doll is the only defense she has because there is no adult with her at that moment. There is no mom and dad, there are no friends.

A striking image has been chosen to present at the important meeting which will take place on 15 November at 20:30 at the auditorium Montanari in Varese, via dei Bersaglieri, to discuss “Cyberbullying and hidden violence.”

The assessor for educational services of the municipality of Varese, Rossella di Maggio, the president of the association GEA, Alessandra Sisti, Damon Zangheri of Varese Nascosta, the president of Asi “Seguendo il filo di Arianna”, Valentina Grassi and the president of the association ASD Cignus Aikido, Furio Artoni will be speaking on this matter.

Furio Artoni and the journalist Simone della Ripa will moderate.

The speakers will be: Luciano Garofano, former commander of the Ris (Forensic science departmentment of the Carabinieri) in Parma; the colonel Claudio Cappello, provincial commander of the Arma dei Carabinieri; Cristina Brondoni, journalist and criminologist and psychotherapist Sabrina Sozzani.

The second appointment presented today, is the one that will be held on 24 November in Biandronno where a proper “set” will be set up at multi-purpose room of Biandronno, in which a sort of crime scene will be staged where those present, split into two teams, will do the forensics on the crime scene and where it will be explained how evidence of murder sites are collected and how detectives work under the strain of a homicide.

The speakers Cristina Brondoni, criminologist, Jessica Trova, marshal of the Carabinieri, Sabrina Sozzani, psychotherapist, Luigi Nagero, lawyer, Alessandra Sisti, president of Gea association against violence towards women, moderator, the lawyer Furio Artoni, will be discussing throughout the night.

The initiatives are organized with the co-participation of GEA, the anti-violence interinstitutional network of Varese, Associazione Nazionale Carabinieri, La Varese Nascosta, Ciguns Aikido and under the auspices of the municipality of Varese.
