Even “Il Trota” lands on Twitter

Paris Hilton, Lady Gaga and Britney Spears did it. And here in Italy, also Ivan Basso or politicians like Alessandro Alfieri. “Why shouldn’t I?” thought Renzo Bossi nicknamed“Il Trota” (the Trout), Umberto’s son.

So, nine days ago, Renzo opened an account on Twitter, the coolest social network of the moment, where anybody can say anything just by condensing it into 140 characters. But it is just starting from today that Renzo has decided to inform his fans about his private life and more, by updating actively his Padania-green Twitter page. He does not do it directly from his cell-phone (as far as we know, he does not have a smartphone), but from his computer. His page seems to be born with good intentions: “Twitter begins! My new point of contact with all the people interested in Politics. Here, you will find out everything about Me!” ”Me” is written with a capital letter, like all the following status updates, which will make all the gossip lovers happier than the politics ones.

So, about an hour ago, Renzo confessed “I LIKE BEING CALLED ʻTROTAʼ, BUT I’VE BEEN A VICTIM OF BULLYING”. And then, a little later, his shock revelation: “MY GREAT-GRANDFATHER WAS FROM FAVARA”. And later, another of Renzo’s remarks: “GIRLS GET TO KNOW ME JUST TO END UP ON MAGAZINES”.

It is not only about gossip, of course. “Il Trota” is using Twitter to communicate also his official appointments, such as his participation in the 14^th lap of the Padania ski championship. This initiative seems to be successful: over 100 people are already following Bossi Jr on Twitter. However, many of them make sarcastic comments. When Bossi confessed that girls get to know him to be popular, coldplayer88 wrote: “I thought it was for your delivery”. Thepulpit thinks the profile is fake: “Come on, it can’t be him, 140 characters: he must have a ghost writer”. While Claos71 says: “Do you think your job sucks? Think about the person that manages Renzo Bossi’s Twitter account and revalue it”.

To make it clear, the profile exists, and this is confirmed by “Il Trota” ’s official blog. Well, Bossi Jr’s debut on Twitter does not seem to be very lucky right now.
