Train stations, published the call for tender (waiting for Renzi)

On the website of the commune the preliminary design. Councillor Civati: "call for tender of EUR 2.1 billion".

Il progetto stazioni presentato in Fiera a Varese

The call for tender for the preliminary design has been published. Palazzo Estense is confident. The new redevelopment project in the zone of the two railway stations (which, however, is not the unification) is taking form and the publication of the procedure in the site of the city of Varese is significant news. But from here to the end result there is still a river to cross. Success is indeed related to the funding requested by the municipal offices, on behalf of the Galimberti council. The optimism is related to an announcement made last week by Matteo Renzi, namely that the fund for the suburbs would be financed and inserted in the stability law. As pointed out by the commissioner of urban planning and public works Andrea Civati (Pictured), the point that has given more hope to the councilmen in Varese is what Matteo Renzi wrote, later, on social networks and that is that the fund be financed with EUR 2.1 billion. The amount, in fact, coincides essentially to the total amount of the projects submitted and, therefore, it is thought that in Varese can get all the 18 million required.

The preliminary design must take into account of course the rough draft sent to Rome for participating in the call for tender.

THE PLANNED WORKS
Link between Piazzale Trieste and the Giubiano district thanks to a pedestrian walkway, pedestrian connection between the two stations North and Fs, construction of covered bus station in Piazzale Kennedy and Piazzale Trieste, realization of a bicycle station (station for bikes and bike-sharing), pedestrian link between train station area and the city centre, renovation of the municipal in via Maspero.
