Glocalnews, discover the festival programme

The programme of the fifth Glocalnews Festival is online, and is the most varied ever. Varese’s local digital journalism festival, which is organised by VareseNews, is back this year, from 17 to 20 November, full of new items and initiatives: over twenty panels, fifteen themed workshops and a whole area dedicated to data journalism. A themed barcamp has been confirmed, dedicated to the value of information on a digital platform. And like last year, there will be Glocal Speeches, by important people in the world of journalism and information. And then, the “Glocal Idea” spaces, with in-depth analyses by experts and themed readings.

The programme this year is certainly varied and many topics will be developed, for experts but also for simple enthusiasts and the curious.

The future of information and of journalism, ethics, the relationship between companies and storytelling, history and memory, photography, food (with the whole Glocalcibo (Glocalfood) section), tourism and politics. And then, the evenings and Sunday events intended for everyone; there’ll be no shortage of surprises.
