Varese, contract extended for Maran and Milanese

Smiles and handshakes, a nice atmosphere and the wish to continue to do well together. Thus in the small press room “Franco Ossola” it has been celebrated the prolongation of the contract, that binds to Varese both the coach and the sports director Mauro Milanese. To celebrate the strengthening of the union that lasts in both cases from few months, but  that is yielding benefits, was the MD Enzo Montemurro, happy for the “yes” that came after a short time and in advance compared to the end of the football season.

Both (and his deputy , Christian Maraner) and Maran will stay in white and red at least until the end of the 2012/2013 season although, even without saying, the hope is that the Varese  will be in… another division. The signatures on the contracts, – accompanied by the “ethics clause” presented by the president Rosati on Monday – put an end to the first worried voices about the destiny of the coach. “The confirmation of the coach and of the sports director confirms that the desire on our part to continue with the planning for the future. With these signatures we have laid the foundations for  next year, strengthening the “good alchemy” that has arisen in these months” says a satisfied Enzo Montemurro that about the technical affirms: “There’s no regret for having discovered later Maran (arrived late in started season in place of Carbone ed.). The satisfaction of the managing director is echoed by those directly involved, starting from Maran. "I did not do special requests before signing” promises Maran “because the only thing I need to work is the presence of a serious project and has a certain continuity. But I had no doubts on that, because since I arrived I realised that there are no problems on this. "The easiest thing for us” has added Milanese “was to ask for a longer contract, a three-year one, but money and time are not the only things that count. For my part it was more important to pursue the best work that began this summer and it is progressing well, so I had no problem signing up for a single year. "

Figures are not spoken about, although it is easy to believe that the monetary adjustment is upwards that signed in recent months. Both Maran and Milanese have also denied that other companies have contacted them in the weeks that preceded the signing.
